Vivian Carbonell of Carbonell Design Studio finds inspiration in the raw materials she works with, in the uniqueness of their organic imperfections.Cast bronze, brass, steel, stainless steel, rich patinas, solid woods, exotic skins, (crocodile, ostrich, shagreen), saddle leather...In her pairings and groupings of elements in a given piece, she seeks, always, visual and textural stimulation, a synthesis of tone, balance and structure.
