Woven from the finest linen, Flax is constructed as an irregular sateen. This structure introduces a subtle variation across the surface, creating a delicate herringbone effect that becomes gently apparent on the face, while the reverse retains the smooth character of a classic sateen.

At 320 cm wide, Flax is ideal for refined and versatile drapery. Once off the loom, the fabric is washed and then softened, developing a gentle sheen and a supple hand. Weighing just under 300 g per square metre, it offers body without heaviness, allowing curtains to fall in long, fluid folds that capture light in soft tonal shifts. This effect is enriched in Flax through the use of undyed linen yarns, whose natural tonal differences vary slightly between crops, depending on weather and soil conditions. A CFA is recommended.
