Woven with a fine silk warp and an irregular linen roving yarn in the weft, Elm balances refinement with artisanal character. The smooth silk lends delicacy and subtle luminosity, while the thicker roving yarn – combed in a single direction rather than spun – introduces a soft, linear structure. Together, they create a fabric that offers gentle surface movement and quiet individuality.

At 224g per square metre, its natural lightness is ideal for screens and blinds. The fabric folds down the weft with relaxed elegance while retaining subtle structure across the warp, softly diffusing light yet maintaining presence. Variations in the roving yarn add intrinsic depth and character, while the silk provides a quiet sheen that subtly lifts the weave.
