Developed from an antique silk in Rose’s personal collection, Haystack is a supremely fine, crisp, and tightly woven silk organza with an airy, sheer quality that is perfect for curtains. To retain a traditional and artisanal feel, Haystack is woven entirely on handlooms by village weavers in India and the human touch is expressed throughout the weave. Small flecks of cocoon residue and other small natural impurities are celebrated as characteristics of its 100% silk composition. At 40 g/m2 with a beautiful golden patina, the fabric feels light and timeless.
