Woven with yarn that is handled and dyed with the utmost care to preserve the natural strength of the silk and enhance the brilliance of this aged gold colour, our Silk Velvets are incredibly dense; requiring 15,000 metres of yarn to produce a single metre. Gentle brushing and beating of the finished cloth produces a final supple handle that lends itself beautifully to both drapery and light upholstery.
